Las Vegas Hotels with the Best Family-friendly Pools

Every year my boys can't wait for our annual family Vegas vacation. This year will be our 7th year. Many disagree that Vegas is a good place for families with children, but we love it. My husband and I are not a casino or drinker and really enjoy spending time with our two boys.

Las Vegas has so many offers besides gaming and nightlife. There is more to see and experience each year.

We usually visit Las Vegas every September just after Labor Day weekend. The weather is great, and we can't wait for a swim in the pool by pouring cold drinks. We always choose a hotel that has a family-friendly pool, and we won't look dirty on guys. The top 3 picks in our family are MGM Grand, The Monte Carlo and The Mirage.

# 1 The MGM Grand:
The MGM Grand has an amazing swimming pool. In my opinion one of the best in Vegas. You feel like you have entered an exotic paradise with very lush greenery, beautiful flowers, fountains and a small island connected to the bridges. Over 6 acres of paradise, this vast area offers 5 swimming pools, 3 floods and lazy rivers. The lazy river was a hit with my family. It swims beneath the bridges through the waterfalls and ends with a small lagoon waterfall that is the perfect swimming pool for infants and toddlers.

I must confess that this paradise has several drawbacks. One disadvantage is that you really need to rent a pipe or a ferry to really feel the lazy river. I believe that the rent for each pipe is $ 15. It is well known that MGM Grand runs special ads where you can get the rent cheaper, free or 2 for 1. Before buying your room, you need to log out of MGM coupons. search – early vegas is good]. The second disadvantage is that the swimming pool complex is quite far from the guest elevators. To get to the pool you need to stroll through the shops and restaurants, but it's worth the walk.

# 2 The Monte Carlo:
The Monte Carlo swimming pool is much smaller than The Grand's swimming pool, but we enjoyed it independently. They love children and all that matters.

Monte Carlo offers 3 swimming pools, a whirlpool and a children's pool. If you are visiting Las Vegas with young children, you will love the attached childrens pool-size beach chairs. The 3ft channel wave pool was designed to simulate the ocean and is a blast for the whole family. If you want to swim, try the Bay Pool. It is a wonderful and relaxing square pool with waterfall. My favorite was the relaxing 400 feet of Easy River Ride. There is also a pipe rental, but inside their beach shop you can buy a pipe for $ 12.00, and the rental store will even blow it up for you. This is a real money saver for larger families or for staying longer like us. After doing something, why not send the pipe to a new family?

# 3 The Mirage:
Mirage Swimming Pool is a combination of a number of swimming pools connected by tropical bridges and lagoons to cascade waterfalls. They used to have waterpipes in the past, but to the great frustration of my children, they closed it. They offer a rental hire around the swim, but we never needed it. You can ask for fun life jackets for kids. The swimming pool is located next to the living room lifts, several shops, a coffee bistro and an ice cream shop. If you decide to order drinks, take my advice and order in small sizes. If not, they will bring you huge drinks at even higher prices.

Just a hint. Most pools in Vegas say that you are not allowed to save chairs in pools, but everyone does. If you don't, you won't have a good place because hundreds of people will ignore your rule. Live and Learn!

Enjoy Las Vegas with Kids!
